Objective:
The Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship (SVMCM) is an initiative by the Government of West Bengal aimed at providing financial assistance to meritorious students from economically disadvantaged minority communities. This scholarship supports students pursuing various levels of higher education in West Bengal.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Students must be residents of West Bengal.
• They should belong to minority communities.
• The student’s family income should not exceed the prescribed limit set by the government.
• The student must have secured at least 75% marks in the last qualifying examination for higher secondary, diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses.

Required Documents:

• Identity Proof: Aadhar card, passport, or voter ID.
• Income Certificate: Document verifying family income issued by a competent authority.
• Bank Account Details: Copy of the first page of your bank passbook or a bank statement.
• Recent Passport sized Photographs: Standard passport-sized photos.
• Mark Sheets: All applicable mark sheets from the 10th, 12th, and final examinations.
• Admission Receipt: Receipt confirming online admission.
• Domicile Certificate: Proof of residency in West Bengal.
