Navjeevan school of Nursing

A minority-serving institution of higher learning, NAVJEEVAN School of Nursing is Christian. which the Daughters of the Cross founded in the year 2003. Together with Navjeevan Hospital, the School offers students excellent educational resources and several opportunities for clinical experience. In 1983, Bhogibhita Hospital was the predecessor to today's Navjeevan Hospital. It expanded in 2003 to become NHRHCC, a hospital with 100 beds.Currently, it serves as a 160-bed hospital. A few years later, the nursing aids training began to assist local women in improving their capacity and competence so they could support the underprivileged and ailing members of their families and communities. Many people saw the value and necessity of such training, so we began the ANM programme. It ran for five years before we upgraded to the GNM programme in 2009, which was accredited by the West Bengal Nursing Council and the Indian Nursing Council.
