Gouri Devi Hospital & Research Institute's charitable drive to improve the health care system in Durgapur and its surrounding areas inspired the establishment of Gouri Devi Nursing Academy in August 2013 as part of Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology and Management. We are fully aware of the subtleties, the demand and supply mismatch, and the institutions that produce these healthcare experts. After personally witnessing how urgently the healthcare sector requires qualified employees to close this talent gap.

Gouri Devi Nursing Academy is a pioneer in the field of allied health sciences in eastern India, offering GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, and paramedical programmes in these fields.

Beginning in August 2013 with a General Nursing and Midwifery programme, Gouri Devi Nursing Academy has expanded its offerings to include B.Sc. Nursing and Paramedical courses.
