    The sole private hospital in Berhampore that is authorised to treat BSNL employees and pensioners under the West Bengal Health Scheme, 2008 is Gitaram Hospital.

     
     
    Gitaram Hospital and WBSEDC Health Scheme have a partnership to provide care.

     
     
    It is also included in the Rashtriya Swastha Bima Yojana (RSBY) treatment list.    In last financial year we have successfully served more than 6000 patients under RSBY for treatment/operation under specialty like Eye, ENT, Gynecology, General Surgery.

    We have opened a separate counter to provide RSBY services such patient counselling, admission & discharge, etc. because our service demand under RSBY is growing dramatically for both day care service and in-patient service.
