Desh Bhagat University, located in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, India, was established under the Desh Bhagat University Act passed by the state government. The university is named after freedom fighter Sr. Lal Singh Ji and is the first state private university in Punjab to have both 12B status and accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The university offers numerous programmes in a variety of disciplines, including engineering, management, hotel management, computer science, ayurveda, nursing, education, commerce, media, animation, law, agriculture, performing arts, languages, social sciences, applied sciences, pharmacy, dental sciences, paramedical sciences, art & craft, and fashion technology.
