Under the above various scholarships, a student can be eligible for financial support from only one scheme, as the case may be. The benefits of multiple scholarships cannot be awarded to a single student.

General Conditions:

  • In case of any discrepancy/concealment of facts, the College / University or sponsoring Trust will cancel the scholarship and recover the amount of scholarship granted.

  • To continue the Scholarship for next semester(s), the students cannot fail in any subject in the current semester and should score a minimum of 6.5 SGPA.  

  • Any kind of indiscipline activities will make the scholarship liable to be canceled.

  • Scholars are required to clear their other dues of the college or University on due dates.

  • Family Income Certificate to be obtained from any "A1 Gazetted Officer/ BDO/ SDO/ ADM etc. wherever applicable.

  • For Under Graduate Courses - Higher Secondary (12th) Marks on the basis of "Best of 5 Subjects.

  • For Lateral Entry Courses - Scholarship shall be calculated on overall Diploma marks.
  • For Post Graduate Courses - Scholarship shall be calculated on overall Graduation marks.

  • For GRAMOTTHAN & SPECIAL HILL STUDENTS Scholarship - Submission of the Permanent Resident Proof of students is mandatory.

  • Students need to apply for a scholarship after Final Admission to the Registrar's Office within the stipulated notified time.

  • The decision of the management will be final and cannot be challenged.
  • Scholarship for International Students (except Nepal & Bhutan) is separate.
Special Note:
 
  • Students of "B.Tech in Robotics & Automation" will be entitled to additional 25%  Industry Sponsorship from AmbujaNeotia Incubation Division.
  • A student can get a maximum of up to 100% Scholarship only.    
  • ** 5% admitted students from socially & economically backward category ( as defined by the West Bengal Govt. ) shall get tuition fee waiver (100% free-ship)

Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship
This scholarship is formally known as Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means scholarship (SVMCM Scholarship) provided by West Bengal State Govt. Students who were passed their last examination with at least 75% marks are eligible for this scholarship. The scholarship amount depends on the course. For Madhyamik passed students the scholarship amount is 6000/-. Online application for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship scheme will start from September 2021. The minimum family annual income must not exceed ₹80,000/- for receiving this scholarship.

CM Relief Fund Scholarship / Nabanna Scholarship
West Bengal Chief Minister Relief Fund providing the scholarship for economically weaker students. For applying this scholarship candidate must have scored more than 60% marks in the last examination. Annual family income does not exceed 60,000/-. The awarded scholarship amount is 10,000/-. There is no last date to apply.

OASIS Scholarship for SC, ST, OBC Students
OASIS scholarship provided by the Backward Classes Welfare Department of West Bengal to the SC, ST and OBC candidates for their higher study. Students who are score at least 50%, in the last final exam are eligible for this scholarship. The application is done online from oasis.gov.in website. Application for this scholarship starting from May month.

Kanyashree Scholarship Scheme
West Bengal Government started Kanyashree Prakalpa from Class 8 to Post Graduate girls students in West Bengal. Girls Students from Class 8 to 12th will fall under Kanyashree K1 Scheme and they will receive Rs. 750 per year. Girls Students after 18th year age will receive once Rs. 18,000 under Kanyashree K2 Scheme. The application process for Kanyashree K1 & K2 is offline and you have to apply through your school. Girls students, studying Post Graduate course under any University in WB, can apply online for the Kanyashree K3 Scholarship scheme.

Aikyashree Scholarship Programme
West Bengal Minority Welfare Department Providing Pre Matric, Post Matric, Merit cum Means and Tallent Support Scholarships for the Minority Students in West Bengal. Students, who are studying in Class 1 to Ph.D, can apply through Aikyashree Scholarship Portal. The complete Application Process is Online. WBMDFC Aikyashree Scholarship Application Process.

GP Birla Foundation Scholarship Scheme
GP Birla Educational Foundation provides scholarships to the students who are recently passed Higher Secondary examination with at least 80% marks. This scholarship is available for college students. Total of Rs. 50,000 per year will be awarded under this scholarship scheme.

Paramparik Scholarship
Paramparik is a West Bengal Based nonprofit organization, which providing Educational scholarships to the Madhyamik and HS passed students, who are meritorious but economically poor. Candidates currently studying in Engineering, Medical, Nursing, Graduation and Master’s courses anywhere in India, can apply for Paramparik West Bengal Scholarships 2021 online.

Aalo Scholarship Scheme
Aalo Charity Organisation providing monthly scholarships for West Bengal students. Students, who are currently studying in class XI (Arts, Science & Commerce) can apply online for Alo scholarship. The new application for this Alo scholarship will start in August.

Anant Mert Scholarship
Anant Foundation providing scholarships to the meritorious but economically weak students. Madhaymik and Higher Secondary passed students can apply for Anant Scholarship for their higher studies.
