SIMSR Placement Trend (Sector wise) 2019

As much as 31% of recruitments were done in Banking & Finance sector, making it the highest recruiting sector for the placement season of 2018-2019. Comparing it to the summer placement drive of 2019, IT & Consulting topped the recruitment season with 24% of total placement share.

SIMSR Highest Salary Trend 2019

In comparison to year 2016-2018, increase in Highest LPA was witnessed for PGDM course i.e. Rs 27 LPA, making it to the highest salary offered in the last 3 years. Salary for Retail management noticed a major downfall this year with Rs 15 LPA as the highest salary offered. Last year, it was Rs 30 LPA.

SIMSR Average Salary Trend 2019

PGDM course verified to have the highest average salary package this year in comparison to last 3 years, i.e. Rs 10.3 LPA. Second in the list was International Business with Rs 9.63 LPA. Following graph shows the average salary trend of placements for last 3 years:
