IIM Sambalpur witnessed close to 140 companies visiting the campus this season with prominent recruiters such as Bajaj Allianz, ZS Associates, Deloitte India, KPMG, Ernst & Young, Amul, Vedanta, SBI Life, Tata Steel BSL, Accenture, IBM, Ramco Systems, Tech Mahindra, Mindtree, ICICI Prudential, Trident, etc. The graduates were offered a myriad of lucrative roles across Marketing, Sales, BFSI, Operations, Consulting, HR, Analytics, ITeS and bagged highly coveted roles in Fintech, E-Commerce, FMCG, and so on.

With more than 90% increase in the companies visited for recruitment, IIM Sambalpur set new standards and surpassed its previous placement records.

This season recorded the highest annual CTC offered at 26.4 LPA and secured 21 LPA with the top 25% CTC at INR 14.91 LPA.

IIM Sambalpur witnessed more than 100 companies visiting campus this season with prominent recruiters such as Bajaj Allianz, Aditya Birla Capital, Deloitte India, Ernst & Young, Amul, Vedanta, HDFC Bank, Evalueserve, IBM, Ramco Systems, Tech Mahindra, Mindtree, Motilal Oswal, etc. The graduates were offered a myriad of lucrative roles across Marketing, Sales, BFSI, Operations, Consulting, Analytics, ITeS, and bagged highly coveted roles in Fintech, E-Commerce, FMCG, and so on. With a 50% increase in the batch size and an 104% increase in the total number of companies visiting campus, IIM Sambalpur set new standards and surpassed its previous placement records.

This season recorded the highest annual CTC at INR 18.92 LPA with an average CTC of INR 10.87 LPA and a median CTC of INR 10.5 LPA.

Final Placement Report, Batch of 2017-2019

Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur congratulates its 3rd batch of PGP participants for completing 100% placements. The 2017-2019 batch has shown great enthusiasm, discipline and dedication in making a mark in the industry.

This placement season, the institute hosted 49 companies including many first time recruiters who doled out a total of 69 offers to the students of IIM Sambalpur. The prominent ones are Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Vedanta, Reliance Jio, OYO Rooms, Ericsson, Motilal Oswal, IQVIA, Newgen, Evalueserve, Parekh Group, HDFC Bank, SBI Life, Aarthi Industries and AGS Transact among many other companies. The students were offered highly coveted roles across various domains such as BFSI, Consulting, Sales & Marketing, Marketing Research, Business Development, Operations, and HR.

The average and median CTCs of the batch stood at Rs. 11.33 Lacs and 9.23 Lacs respectively, with the highest international and domestic CTCs being Rs. 58.00 Lacs and 20.00 Lacs respectively. The CTC for the top quartile of the batch stood at Rs. 18.92 Lacs while the top 50% of the batch secured an average salary of Rs. 14.30 Lacs.
