Placements

Every student at Calcutta National Medical College must undergo a one-year rotational internship as part of the course requirements. This internship may be completed at any private or public hospital or clinic. The college offers the opportunity to all of the students to opt for  internship in the college hospital itself. Each student receives a stipend of about INR 20,000 per month. The placement rate is approximately 95%, although all of the placements are made off-campus in different private hospitals, and the selection is made in accordance with those institutions' standards.
