JEE Advanced 2025 Results Out Final Answer Key, Cut-Offs Released by IIT Kanpur

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur publicly announced the JEE Advanced 2025 results on June 2, much to the relief and excitement of thousands of aspirants around the country. Alongside the results, the final answer key has also been published. Candidates can now check their scores on the

official website: jeeadv.ac.in.

Toppers of JEE Advanced 2025

With an outstanding 332 out of 360, Rajit Gupta of the IIT Delhi zone has won the exam. Interestingly, Saksham Jindal, also from the IIT Delhi zone, secured the same score but has been placed second due to tie-breaking criteria applied by the examination authorities.

On the Common Rank List (CRL), the top 10 applicants are as follows:

  3. Majid Mujahid Husain – 330 marks
  4. Parth Mandar Vartak – 327 marks
  5. Ujjwal Kesari – 324 marks

  8. Devesh Pankaj Bhaiya – 319 marks
  9. Arnav Singh – 319 marks
  10. Vadlamudi Lokesh – 317 marks
Zone-wise Performance: IIT Hyderabad Leads
 

This year, the IIT Hyderabad zone reported the highest number of qualifiers, with 12,946 students making the cut. It was followed by:

  • IIT Delhi – 11,370 qualifiers
  • IIT Bombay – 11,226
  • IIT Roorkee – 5,445
  • IIT Kharagpur – 5,353
  • IIT Kanpur – 5,295
  • IIT Guwahati – 2,743

To view the results of JEE Advanced 2025, candidates should do the following actions:

  1. Visit the official website: jeeadv.ac.in
  2. Click on the "JEE Advanced 2025 Result" link
  3. Log in using registration credentials
  4. View and download the scorecard
  5. Take a printout for future reference
Minimum Marks Required to Qualify
 

To be included in the rank list, candidates must secure both subject-wise and overall qualifying marks. Here are the cutoffs for each category:

The maximum aggregate marks for the exam were 360, split equally between Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper was worth 60 points in the subjects of chemistry, physics, and mathematics.
 

Exam Overview: Maths the Toughest

JEE Advanced 2025 was held on May 18 in two sessions. According to feedback from students and expert reviews, Mathematics was the most difficult paper, while Physics and Chemistry followed standard patterns.

What Comes Next: JoSAA Counselling and AAT
 

In addition to the exam being held on June 5 from 9 AM to 12 PM, the registration period is open from June 2 to June 3.  Through this centralised counselling process, students can secure admission to prestigious institutes including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs).

Candidates interested in pursuing BArch at IITs will need to appear for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2025. In addition to the exam being held on June 5 from 9 AM to 12 PM, the registration period is open from June 2 to June 3. 
Results of AAT 2025 will be declared on June 8.
 

A Quick Recap: JEE Advanced 2024

Aditya and Ved Lahoti, both from the IIT Delhi zone, finished third and third, respectively, in last year's JEE Advanced 2024 test with 355 and 346 points. Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel of IIT Bombay distinguished herself among the female applicants with a score of 332 and a CRL 7 rank.

Of the approximately 1.80 lakh students that took the two exams in 2024, 48,248 individuals were selected. The IIT Madras region produced the greatest number of applications who were accepted that year.
