The Summer Internship Program at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Goa is a competitive, research-oriented internship open to students from across India - except those enrolled at IIT Goa. It allows selected students to work alongside experienced faculty members on ongoing research projects, offering a glimpse into the real-world applications of academic knowledge and skills.
Internship Period: Mid-May to Mid-July 2025
(Tentative Dates: May 16 to July 15)
Minimum Duration: 6 weeks
(Timings may vary based on the mutual availability of the student and faculty mentor)
Application Deadline: April 15, 2025
Result Announcement: April 25, 2025
Applicants can choose only one of the following two internship tracks:

Additional Charges:
Transport and Medical Services: One-time fee of ₹500
Mess Charges: ₹240/day (four meals) or ₹170/day (monthly subscription)
The internship is open to students from other academic institutions who are currently pursuing the following degrees:
B.A., B.Sc., B.Tech., or Dual Degree (Undergraduate level)
M.A., M.Sc., or MCA (Postgraduate level)
Students enrolled in M.Tech. programs or from overseas universities are ineligible.
Selected candidates must submit a bonafide certificate issued by their current educational institution.
